Commercial energy offer comparison

Compare electricity or natural gas proposals on the same usage, term, and charge basis. See the complete modeled cost—and see what is still missing.

Offer A

Enter 0 when a charge is included in the energy rate or confirmed absent. Leave an unresolved charge blank. Do not count an included component twice.

Offer B

Enter 0 when a charge is included in the energy rate or confirmed absent. Leave an unresolved charge blank. Do not count an included component twice.

Check your inputsConfirm that both offers cover matching dates, usage, and charge scope before interpreting the comparison.

This models the entered supply scope only. Delivery, taxes, switching-related utility adjustments, and unentered costs are excluded. Annual use is spread evenly when scaling a term; seasonal and hourly/index products need matched interval or monthly data and an account-specific model. Gas unit conversion does not by itself price utility transportation.

Compare the same product before comparing the price.

Gather the complete written proposals, not just a cents-per-kWh or dollars-per-therm headline. Match the delivery dates and consumption assumptions. Enter a component as zero only when it is already included or confirmed absent. An unknown charge stays unresolved.

The model normalizes rates and fixed supplier fees. It does not fetch live prices, evaluate supplier creditworthiness, determine legal rights, or predict hourly/index prices. For a gas offer in dollars per MMBtu, divide the quoted rate by 10 before entering dollars per therm.

Interpret the lowest modeled total alongside tolerance, pass-through, change-in-law, termination, renewal, and compensation provisions. A modeled price advantage between two offers is not a promised saving against your existing bill.
