Commercial energy contract renewal planner
Turn your signed contract’s end date and notice provisions into a clear planning timeline. Keep optional reminders separate from contract dates.

All offsets use calendar days and date-only UTC arithmetic. If the contract uses business days, receipt rules, specific hours, or a different notice mechanism, this output does not implement those provisions. Confirm the signed wording, recipient, delivery method, and account-class protections. A passed modeled notice date does not by itself establish your legal options.
A useful renewal plan starts with the actual contract.
Find the executed agreement, amendments, end date, and notice paragraph. Record the minimum and maximum notice lead times, if both exist. Confirm whether days mean calendar or business days and whether a notice must be sent or received by the deadline.
This planner subtracts calendar days from the end date. The 180-, 120-, and 90-day milestones are optional preparation reminders. The internal buffer is a management preference. None is a universal Illinois requirement or an instruction to send notice outside a valid window.
Before acting, confirm the recipient, permitted delivery method, receipt proof, renewal and holdover pricing, and any rights that depend on account class. Residential and small-commercial protections should not be assumed to apply to every business agreement.
